Muddiest Point #7

I am understand that wireless internet is available through the distribution and receipt of radio waves but I don't understand how computers are able to block access to something as intangible as radio waves and how WEPs physically work.

all those radio waves need the network devices to receive and interpret so that the information inside the wave can be processed and transmitted. if the network recognize that the wave come from a device that is not part of the network, it can refuse to interpret the wave, therefore, the information inside the wave is not put into the network.
